The Holy Trinity School Association is an active group of parents, staff and Governors from the school. Our aims are:
All parents of children attending the school are automatically members of the School Association. Parents then have the option of joining the 'Committee' to strategically plan and co-ordinate the different events and activities across the year. The Committee is elected at the Annual General Meeting which is held at the beginning of the school year. The Committee then meet every six weeks to plan and organise events. Many parents who are not able to commit themselves regularly, help at various events and we are grateful for their support.
The SA is a key part of our school community. In its time the SA has raised many thousands of pounds, which have been spent on buying equipment and improving resources to enhance our children’s education and the facilities in school. But it is much, much more than just fundraising. The SA exists to provide closer links between home and school, and it is an excellent way to bring staff, parents and friends together socially in support of the school working towards a common goal.
Funds are raised through a variety of events and activities. The Summer Fair is a key event in the year, as well as discos, cake sales, Christmas events and more. The End of Year Event in the Summer term is always very popular and open to all members of the school community. We are always open to new ideas, so please do let us know if you have an idea we can try.
We send out letters and display posters about key events and also have an information section in the half termly newsletter.
